Who can do this

The administrator, once, on a new box.

Before you start

  • The box is installed. See Unbox and connect.
  • The CEO bootstrap code from the end of the installation.
  • A password for yourself: at least 12 characters, with upper-case and lower-case letters and a number.

Steps

  1. Open https://myai.local/ in your browser.
  2. The page Create the CEO administrator opens.
  3. Enter your name under CEO name.
  4. Enter your e-mail address under Work email. You sign in with it.
  5. Enter your Password.
  6. Enter the code under Bootstrap code.
  7. Press Create administrator.

What you see afterwards

  • You are signed in. The header shows your name and “CEO administrator”.
  • The box asks you at once to choose its AI: the page Choose the appliance AI. Continue with AI providers.
  • The bootstrap code is used up. It cannot create a second account.

Your choices

Choice What it does When to pick it Can you undo it?
Create administrator Creates the one administrator account of the box. A new box for a new start. No. The account cannot be removed or replaced in the portal.
Restore from a backup (link under the form) Brings back the users, workers, tasks and settings of another box from a backup file. You sign in with the accounts from the backup. You move to a new box, or you replace a broken box. See Backup and restore. No, once started.

If something goes wrong

Section titled “If something goes wrong”
  • “The bootstrap code is missing or wrong.”: check the code. Letters are upper-case. The letters O and I and the numbers 0 and 1 are never used.
  • “Too many login attempts. Wait 15 minutes and try again.”: wait 15 minutes.
  • Lost the code: on the box’s console (screen and keyboard), the command shown in the note under the form prints it again, as long as no account exists. Ask support if you need help.
